Tan Outback Handmade Leather Hat – Braided Band | JJ Leather Crafts

This tan handmade leather hat has a wide, structured brim and a relaxed outback crown — the kind of shape that looks like it's been worn in, even when it's brand new. The exterior is full-grain suede leather in a warm sand tone, with visible ventilation eyelets along the crown and a wide brim that curves naturally at the edges.

Every hat we make is hand-cut and hand-stitched. The crown seams are sewn with thick natural thread, visible and intentional — not hidden. The hatband is a tightly braided dark leather strip, finished with a stamped metal concho and a small leather tag that reads "Handcrafted" — a detail you notice up close. A leather chin cord is included. The leather softens and shapes to your head over time, the way good leather does.

This hat works outdoors — hiking, camping, a day at the market — but it's not trying too hard for any of those. It just fits. We offer free home delivery across Canada on every order. A hat built this way doesn't need to be replaced every season.
