This black handmade leather long wallet is made from genuine ostrich leather — the raised quill follicles cover the entire exterior, and no two panels look exactly the same. The surface has a natural sheen to it, deep black with subtle variation in the bumps that you can feel as much as see. It's a bifold that closes flat and carries without bulk.
The interior is hand-cut and hand-stitched, with wavy-edged card pockets that are shaped by hand rather than stamped out by machine. The hardware is antique brass — two snap rivets on the right panel that hold the pocket flaps in place. Edges are burnished and finished. Genuine ostrich leather like this is dense and durable; it doesn't crack or peel the way coated leathers do.
